First reported by Social Media Today, Google launched .RSVP domains! This is good news for event marketers who will benefit from having event-specific RSVP domains to help guests recall event URLs. In addition to recall improvement, marketers will likely use these domains to redirect to their main event webpage.
RSVP domains are currently available through Google’s Early Access Program, but they will be made publicly available soon.
Instagram’s in-app post-scheduler is now available to all professional accounts, according to Search Engine Land. The tool allows users to schedule Reels, Photos, and Carousels up to 75 days in advance, helping social media managers schedule posts without third-party tools.
In other news, Social Media Today reported that Instagram added the ability to pair music with still-image posts. Instagram said, “Music is a huge part of expression on Instagram, and we’re excited to provide the ability to add music to photo posts like you can with Reels and Stories.”
Ahrefs shared six helpful tips to boost website traffic during the busy shopping season.
AI-generated images are growing in popularity. The Verge reported that design platform Canva launched its own text-to-image AI feature.
Canva began testing the feature in September and just rolled it out to free and paid Canva members alike. The only limit? Users can generate up to 100 images per day. Users are prompted to describe the image they want to see then choose from various styles, including photo, drawing, 3D, painting, pattern, and concept art.
The tool generates a grid of four images to select from. Users can report images that contain violence, nudity, hate speech, or biased or stereotypical content.
