We uncovered the impetus of the project in our initial kickoff meeting with the owners of My Best Friend’s Decorator. “We want to be your decorators when we meet you and your friends when we leave,” the ladies told us. This defined the remainder of the project.

The brand – from logo to website – should be familiar but beautiful, professional but welcoming, and personable. My Best Friend’s Decorator is a company for everyone and anyone.

Our creative team jumped into brand design, crafting a logo and defining website fonts and colors. Once these visual elements were constructed according to My Best Friend’s Decorator’s guidelines, we entered website design and development.

Every element of the website was designed to be beautiful, professional, and approachable. The RivalMind design team underscored approachability in subtle ways, such as using welcoming wording like “Say Hello” and “Let’s Have a Conversation” in calls to action, rather than just “Contact Us.”

Barlow was specifically created to resemble Californian letterforms, and brings a touch of California trendiness to this site.
