When Corner Pocket’s leadership team approached RivalMind, the pool table repair and relocation company needed an updated website and expanded, updated branding guidelines.
Their former website was built on an ecommerce platform which sent a severely misleading message to visitors – Corner Pocket is a service provider, not an online store. Additionally, Corner Pocket’s brand guidelines needed to be expanded and improved to communicate company culture and white-glove service, better representing the company.

Our Approach
Create a cohesive, user-appealing site
We discussed, outlined, and accomplished three primary goals during our journey with Corner Pocket. First, the RivalMind creative team designed and developed Corner Pocket’s new website on Duda, taking full advantage of the streamlined, lightweight platform and removing any appearance of ecommerce functionality.
Next, we incorporated a sense of excellence into the current branding guidelines. Finally, our team articulated Corner Pocket’s expansive service options throughout the website with user-friendly page designs.
Our team expanded upon Corner Pocket’s brand with high-end imagery, custom graphics, and professional fonts. Although their logo was stylish and unique, it lacked the sophistication that would attract Corner Pocket’s target clientele.
Lastly, we outlined Corner Pocket’s services on organized, user-friendly, and content-rich website pages. To further streamline the user experience, we incorporated a selection box into the contact form, allowing interested customers to select their desired service(s).

Playing off the concept of a beachy, pool themed website, our creative team built an ocean-based color palette with a bright orange contrast to captivate users. The cohesive beach them carries throughout the site, building Corner Pocket's brand credibility.
