First, a competing company stole their brand and website design to pilfer business. Beyond differentiating Trocar Supplies from their duplicate competitor, Trocar’s former website was disorganized and difficult to navigate.

Our Approach
Display structured service through an approachable design
During our kick-off meeting with Trocar Supplies’ leadership team, we outlined three primary objectives. Our team would build a modernized ecommerce website on the Shopify platform, refresh Trocar’s brand, and organize their online inventory.
The RivalMind development team drafted an updated, visually-appealing, modernized ecommerce website. Trocar’s new branding was clinical and professional. We built the website for growth – the marketing tool can easily be expanded on in the future as inventory expands or functionality needs arise.
Beyond consistent naming conventions for Trocar products, we moved from an individual product setup to a variable product setup. This would allow users to shop for products and toggle available choices – such as sizing – from a single product page, rather than unique pages with each option.
Our team also added the ability to request a quote for a customized medical kit. Finally, we incorporated two primary functionalities for future use – integration with QuickBooks for inventory management purposes and purchase order payments with net terms.
The Results
At launch, we presented Trocar with a distinguished and user-friendly platform, built from the ground-up for long-term digital success. Determined to expand their online presence and leads, Trocar began ongoing SEO and PPC services with our team immediately after launch.

We applied the use of Montserrat and Plantin because of their classic style and professional attributes. The services of Trocar Supplies had to be easily navigable, and with the application of those typefaces the website is approachable and professional.

The gentle appearance of Trocar Supplies' new website is exhibited by this color palatte. The soft blues convey the tranquility and stability that Trocar hopes to provide their customers, adding to the approachable and cohesive design of the website.
