Healthier Middlesex
Partnered with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Saint Peter’s approached RivalMind with a noble vision – a conglomeration of health providers dedicated to promoting a healthy community in central New Jersey, named “Healthier Middlesex.” However, the founders of Healthier had no digital platform upon which to stand.
Built upon the belief that lasting community change begins with understanding current health data, the newly instituted organization required a website designed to display dynamic public health statistics to Middlesex, New Jersey citizens.

Attract diverse communities through robust user experience
During a period of client discovery, we gathered valuable insight into Middlesex, from Central Jersey website visitor personas to community health data and lists of partners.
Beyond aesthetics, the RivalMind design team emphasized easy-to-use functionality. Our team designed the site to guide visitors through clear reports, providing instant access to assessments, plans, statistics, partners, grants, news, and more.
We organized each website page according to the needs of a diverse target audience – from multicultural imagery to unique color palates.
Ultimately, our team created a design with a dual purpose: to lead community users toward intuitive health statistics and healthcare professionals toward fitting initiatives.
The Results
At the close of the Healthier Middlesex project, RivalMind deployed a user-friendly website, designed to display the health needs of Central Jersey via digestible, data-driven charts. Since launch, Middlesex citizens have had the ability to comprehend the current condition of their community, while Middlesex medical partners have evaluated dynamic statistics and launched informed public health initiatives.
Bold, gentle fonts.
Brandon Grotesque and Museo Sans were selected for their warm and friendly appeal. These typefaces complement each other harmoniously, allowing for seamless transitions between headings and body text.
Vibrant, eye-catching blue and violet with a vast color palette.
The stunning blend of blue and violet hues were utilized to immediately draw the user's attention. The vast color palette create an immersive and captivating visual experience, adding depth and energy throughout the site.
