Already benefiting from our SEO service, this client trusted us to take the framework of their brochure-type site and build an ecommerce solution. Customers who could only call to order would now have the opportunity to order online; a change that could have positive impact on the bottom line. With a strong reputation of technical perfection, professionalism, and innovation as a pulley and gear provider, this project was key to aligning the client’s online presence with their business strengths.
Logo Design / Website Design / Social Media
Because we started with a highly strategized site, we maintained the structure and focused our efforts on building an engaging and effective ecommerce solution with a stunning on-brand visual update.
While clients often see the need to develop a new website, company leaders don’t always have a lot of time to devote to the process. This client was pulled (pun intended!) in many directions and his limited time allowed us to showcase our ability to successfully move a project forward with only essential client input.
Our team pushed the boundaries of IPG's previously limited color scheme to include an invigorating gradient and a higher contrast navy. We also introduced the use of pulley schematics as a background element, further expanding their brand imagery.
The majority of the website is populated with the product images provided by the client. Where outside images were required, our team selected stock imagery reflecting the machinery and operators who engage with IPG's products.
When users can see it, read specifics, and conveniently and immediately buy it—without making a call—it doesn’t take long for results to hit the bottom line. With a fresh visual presence that reinforces IPG's position as a leader in the mechanical world and a dynamic and engaging layout, this client was extremely pleased with the end result of our largely independent work.
As a superfamily of fonts spanning across normal, semi condensed, and condensed versions, Barlow had enough variety to be selected and used across the entire site. Its condensed, structured, and slightly rounded font lends itself to a strong brand identity. While communicating the structure and stability of the IPG brand, Barlow also introduced a sense of professionalism that was previously lacking.
While keeping with IPG's original brand colors of blue and red, our team expanded IPG's palette to include a deep navy and a lighter salmon. We also introduced an innovative gradient of that combined all three colors to add dimension to the website.
